In this respect, TAWABIKA undertakes to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your personal data.

Through this privacy policy (hereinafter, referred to as " Privacy Policy "), we aim to inform you, as the data controller (hereinafter, referred to as " Processing manager "), clearly and transparently about the aspects relating to the processing of your personal data (management, purpose, protection, etc.).

The customer is obliged to read and accept the terms before placing an order.

TAWABIKA may make changes to the present document in accordance with legislative and regulatory changes.

What personal data is collected ?

TAWABIKA processes personal data.

Depending on how the services are used, the processing of the data collected may vary.

TAWABIKA insists on the principle of minimization, which stipulates that personal data must be adequate, relevant and limited. In this respect, the customer is asked to communicate only the necessary data and to refrain from transmitting sensitive data.

TAWABIKA undertakes to collect only personal data that is strictly necessary for the purpose for which it is processed.

When data is collected, its mandatory nature is indicated by an asterisk.

If you do not fill in these mandatory fields, TAWABIKA will not be able to process your request.

Nature of personal data collected 

  • Identity : last name, first name, home address and country, phone number, email address ;
  • Order data : transaction number, purchase details, purchase amount, invoice payment data, product returns ;
  • Data required for loyalty and prospecting initiatives : purchase history.

Customer identification :
In order to make purchases, the Customer will have three (3) options:

  • Create a new account ;
  • Log in with an existing account ;
  • Make a purchase as a guest without logging into an account.

For what purposes are personal data processed ?

The communication of personal data to TAWABIKA is essential for access to the Site's services (see General Terms and Conditions of Sale) and in particular for the purposes of :

  • By contacting us at the contact details specified in point 10 below ;
  • Or via an unsubscribe link on e-mail solicitations.

Comment collectons-nous et recevons-nous vos données ?

TAWABIKA gathers and collects the Customer's personal data for a specific and necessary purpose after obtaining the Customer's consent.

The Customer may give his consent:

  • By checking a box expressly provided for this purpose ;
  • During an exchange with an advisor in writing or by telephone ;
  • When creating an account ;
  • By filling in a form.

The e-mail addresses of customers who have agreed to this are passed on to our commercial partners such as BREVO.

During the course of the experience, the Customer may use social networks and acknowledges that, in this respect, the platforms have their own privacy policies of which the Customer must be aware.

Quelles sont les bases légales de traitement ?

The legal bases for processing are as follows :

  • Order management : the legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract  ;
  • Sending commercial solicitations by e-mail on Products similar to those ordered : the legal basis for processing is the legitimate interest of TAWABIKA ;
  • Sending commercial solicitations by e-mail about Products different from those ordered : the legal basis for processing is consent ;
  • Transmission of e-mail address to business partners : the legal basis for processing is consent ;
  • Bookkeeping involving data retention for a period of ten (10) years : the legal basis for processing is the legal obligation.

How long do we keep the information we collect ?

TAWABIKA keeps personal data only for as long as is necessary and appropriate.

TAWABIKA will apply the following maximum durations :

  • Order management and billing data : for the duration of the business relationship and ten (10) years for accounting obligations ;
  • Data transmitted when creating a customer account : for the duration of the commercial relationship and three (3) years from the last purchase ;
  • Data required for loyalty operations and prospecting : for the duration of the commercial relationship and three (3) years from the last purchase ;
  • Payment information : TAWABIKA does not store this information ;
  • Site navigation : the associated retention period is thirteen (13) months from the last navigation.

How secure is the data ?

For your purchases, payments are made via a secure platform that guarantees data security via encryption and prevents fraud.

Please note that your bank details are not accessible on our server.

TAWABIKA undertakes to take its best precautions to preserve the security of personal data against all possible risks.

TAWABIKA cannot be held responsible in the event of interruption/suspension of the Site or malfunctions caused by force majeure or for reasons beyond its control.

TAWABIKA recommends the Customer to be vigilant when using the Site, in particular by choosing a password that is sufficiently secure and complex to protect his data.

TAWABIKA advises the Customer to change his password regularly in order to protect his account and to refrain from disclosing it to anyone.

  • Right to information : the Customer has the right to obtain clear information on the use of his data and on the exercise of his rights ;
  • Right of access:  Customers have the right to access the personal data held about them in order to verify its content and accuracy ;
  • Right of rectification:  the Customer has the right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data concerning him/her ;
  • Right to erasure / right to oblivion:  customers have the right to have their personal data erased - unless they refuse on legitimate or compelling grounds ;
  • Right of withdrawal:  the Customer may at any time withdraw his consent to the processing of his data ;
  • Right to portability data: the Customer has the right to receive data concerning him/her for the purpose of transferring it to another data controller. This right applies only to data that you have provided, and provided that the processing is based on a contract or the consent of the Customer and carried out using automated processes.
